MarqVision is building a global startup with Cuckoo
The brand protection startup supports customers in more than 115 countries from seven offices

MarqVision protects brands wherever their products and intellectual property appear online. Its technology monitors more than 1,500 platforms in over 115 countries, looking for counterfeits, unauthorized sellers, impersonation, and piracy.
The company has grown quickly since it was founded in 2020. It now has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seoul, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo. That footprint reflects the needs of its customers. The brands MarqVision supports sell in many markets, and the threats they face rarely stay in one place.
Global customers need local knowledge
A case may start with a customer in the U.S. and involve a seller or marketplace in Asia. Colleagues in China, Korea, or Japan may have the most relevant knowledge, while legal, product, and customer teams elsewhere also need to be involved.
Local expertise matters because marketplaces, regulations, and enforcement processes differ by country. MarqVision needs to bring that knowledge together quickly and give customers a clear response.
As the startup added customers and offices, cross-regional communication became part of the day-to-day work.
One customer can involve several offices
A global account does not fit neatly within one region. The team closest to the customer may sit in one office, while the people who understand a particular marketplace or enforcement process work in another.
These colleagues need to discuss cases, share market context, and agree on next steps. Doing all of that in a single working language can slow the conversation or make it harder for people to explain details precisely.
Cuckoo gives everyone a more natural way to take part.
Letting the right person speak
MarqVision uses Cuckoo for real-time interpretation during cross-regional conversations. Colleagues can explain an issue in the language they know best and still be understood by the rest of the group.
This is especially useful when a discussion includes product names, marketplace terminology, or legal details. Teams can hear directly from the person closest to the issue instead of passing information through several rounds of translation.
Customers benefit from the combined knowledge of MarqVision's offices, regardless of where the relationship is managed.
Keeping pace as the startup grows
MarqVision is still expanding. New customers bring work in new markets, and each office adds more local knowledge to the company.
Cuckoo makes that growth easier to manage. New teams can work with colleagues in other regions from the start, without building a separate interpretation process for every meeting.
For MarqVision, this means its communication setup can grow with the startup. For its customers, it means faster access to the people who understand their brands and the markets where they operate.
