Introducing Cuckoo for Videos
Cuckoo's AI video localization helps global teams deliver content in any language, right on time.

Today, we're introducing AI Video Localization, the latest addition to Cuckoo. It's built for marketing and go-to-market teams that operate across borders.
Over the past six months, our real-time AI translator has helped companies like Snowflake, Weights & Biases, and members of the Magnificent 7 communicate across languages at live events and meetings. Along the way, we kept hearing about the same problem: a gap between campaigns launched by the product team at HQ and the regional marketing teams that localize them.
Why videos?
Cuckoo was originally built for real-time conversations, where accuracy has to be balanced against latency. But more and more teams started using it for pre-recorded content. For regional marketing teams, it was a way to shorten the typical 3–4 week delay between an HQ launch and a regional one.
Without it, teams manually transcribed English videos, timestamped subtitles, and sent them off for translation. Whether the content was a product launch, a webinar, or a keynote, campaigns slowed down and bottlenecks piled up. Our live translator became a last resort to speed things up.
We built Cuckoo for Videos to fix that.
What it does
Cuckoo for Videos follows the same principles as the rest of Cuckoo: simple, multilingual, and context-aware. With it, you can:
- Upload high-resolution, long-form content like webinars and conferences
- Instantly generate clean transcripts and multilingual subtitles
- Edit translations with human-in-the-loop workflows
- Download high-quality videos with captions or burned-in subtitles, ready for global distribution in minutes
Cuckoo checks grammar, removes filler words, and cleans up repeated questions automatically. Sentences are split for readability based on context, not just punctuation or pauses. An AI copilot suggests alternative translations, applies your previous corrections, and keeps terminology consistent using your organization's keywords and documents.
Cuckoo for Videos supports more than 20 languages today, with more on the way. We'll also add more context sources soon, including external links and knowledge bases.
How GTM teams use it
Weights & Biases first used Cuckoo for community events, then for its annual conference, internal team syncs, and customer meetings. Now, a single marketer on its APAC team localizes its content into Korean and Japanese with Cuckoo for Videos. Snowflake has followed a similar path.
New use cases are emerging too. Daedong, an AI-enhanced tracking company, uses Cuckoo to localize onboarding and training materials for its global teams.
What's next
Cuckoo was built to help global teams operate as one. Cuckoo for Videos closes the gap between content produced at HQ and its regional localization, and it does so much faster.
This is just the first version. Next, we're building better team collaboration, streamlined review workflows, smarter context from external sources, and publishing tools that make distributing localized content as easy as creating it.
If you're on a marketing, product, or customer success team with a global audience, we'd love for you to try it. Book a demo and I'll walk you through Cuckoo for Videos personally. Your first video is on us.
