Our mission at Cuckoo is to help global teams expand worldwide without language barriers. That might mean interviewing your first customer in Turkey, meeting enterprise clients in Japan, or running a community event with your HQ team in Korea.

With Y Combinator, we have the best partners to make that happen.

What is Cuckoo?

Cuckoo is an AI interpreter for global teams. It learns the technical details of your conversations from your keywords and documents, then translates into more than 20 languages, tailored to your industry and organization. It's like having an in-house interpreter who is always available.

Since launching in July 2024, we've worked with global teams like Snowflake, PagerDuty, Weights & Biases, dbt Labs, and SeAH as our first customers. They use Cuckoo for multilingual meetings, events, business trips, and more. From day one, they've shown us new use cases, helped us find bugs, and kept us motivated with their support.

Why Y Combinator?

Y Combinator has a special place in our story. Gunwoo and I still remember watching YC partner David Rusenko's YouTube video during midterms. Many of the founders and companies we admire, including Airbnb, Stripe, Dropbox, Gusto, and Brex, came out of YC.

Being part of a community with founders and partners like these means a lot to us.

What's next

We're still at the very beginning of our mission to break down language barriers for global teams with AI. We'll keep building new features and improvements so our customers can connect with teams and customers around the world.

If that sounds exciting, join us as a founding team member and help build a category-defining product in language, localization, and beyond.
